RONDA ROUSEY
2004 Jr. World Champion
2004 Olympian
2008 Olympic Hopeful
Some people would say that Ronda was destined to be great, after all, her mother Ann Maria was a Judo World Champion. Ronda would say that she's just a hard worker and that she pays attention to details. No matter what you say it can be argued that Ronda is the best female Judo player in American History. As a Junior World Champion and a Silver Medalist at th 2007 World Championships, Ronda has her eyes set on an Olympic Medal in Beijing and it seems like anything but Gold would be a disappointment.
Ronda is one heck of a grip fighter and she has learned and harnessed her skills by being under the tutelage of some great judo player such as her mother Ann Maria De Mars, James Pedro Sr. and Jimmy Pedro.
